Show the workflow

Before: repeated notes and scattered tasks make follow-up harder than it needs to be.

Recognise the work

It’s usually not the job itself that wastes the time.

The friction often lives around the work: the repeated reply, the missed follow-up, the quote rebuilt from scratch, or the note that never reached the right person.

01

Calls & enquiries

Missed calls, slow replies and new-job details scattered across messages.

02

Quotes

The same details copied, checked and rebuilt every time a price goes out.

03

Bookings

Dates confirmed in several places while the customer waits for an update.

04

Follow-ups

Good opportunities depend on someone remembering what to chase and when.

05

Customer updates

The same arrival times, reminders and answers typed out again by hand.

06

Admin

Job notes and paperwork re-entered after the real work is already finished.

The person behind BDM

Practical systems, built with real work in mind.

Brigham McQueenFounder · Silverdale

I’m Brigham McQueen, based in Silverdale. I work hands-on in aluminium fabrication, so I understand that completing the job is only part of the workload. Enquiries, quotes, customer updates, parts, paperwork and follow-ups still have to happen around it.

Before starting BDM, I spent two years in Costa Rica serving and teaching the people in their language, Spanish. That experience taught me to listen first, understand how people actually work and focus on help that makes a practical difference.

BDM brings those two sides together: a service mindset, firsthand trade experience and modern tools used carefully to make work simpler.

One example workflow

What a better system can look like.

Every business is different. This is an example of how less repetition and clearer hand-offs can support the team—not a promise that one setup fits everyone.

The practical outcome

Better systems save you time, energy, money and stress.

01

Time

Less repeated entry, checking and chasing.

02

Energy

Fewer loose ends for your team to remember.

03

Money

Faster responses and less avoidable admin.

04

Stress

Clearer owners, hand-offs and next actions.

Real work, better

Keep your team focused on delivering the job.

The aim is not to replace the human work your customers value. It is to make the calls, messages, coordination and paperwork around that work easier to handle.

Useful?Yes: improve it

Build what proves itself

Only improve or expand once it is useful in the real world.

Our rule

If the simplest answer is a better process or an off-the-shelf tool, that is what we will recommend.

Frequently asked

Useful answers before you start.

Still unsure? Start by listing the admin, coordination or follow-up that takes up the most time each week. Daisy can ask the next questions.

Do I need to know what I want improved?

No. Start with the calls, admin, coordination or follow-up that keeps taking time. The assessment helps narrow that down to one realistic opportunity.

Will you recommend a custom build every time?

No. If an off-the-shelf tool or a simple process change is the better answer, Brigham will say so. A custom build only makes sense when it earns its complexity.

Is the assessment a sales call?

No. It is a low-pressure working process. The review may conclude that custom work is not justified or that an existing tool is the better next step.

What types of businesses are a good fit?

Small and medium New Zealand service businesses with repeatable admin, customer communication, follow-up or operational work. Trades and practical service teams are a particularly good fit.

How much does the assessment cost?

The form, optional Daisy conversation and Brigham’s personal review are free. Any paid work requires separate scope, pricing and your approval.
