1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies when you visit bdmgrowth.co.nz, submit the Daisy Business Assessment Intake form, speak with Daisy, or otherwise contact BDM Growth Systems. BDM Growth Systems is based in New Zealand and is responsible for the personal information described here.

For privacy questions, email brigham@bdmgrowth.co.nz.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the assessment, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, business name, business type, and any role or contact information you choose to provide;
  • information you provide about business processes, problems, priorities, tools, and opportunities;
  • the recording, transcript, call summary, and related technical details if you choose to speak with Daisy and consent to recording and transcription;
  • website and form activity such as time of submission, browser or device information, and basic diagnostic data; and
  • messages and follow-up correspondence with BDM Growth Systems.

Please do not provide passwords, payment-card details, health information, confidential client information, or other sensitive information during the assessment.

3. Why we collect and use it

We use the information to:

  • provide and administer the free business assessment;
  • allow Daisy to ask relevant follow-up questions during the conversation;
  • allow Brigham to prepare the personal review supplied for every completed assessment;
  • contact you about the assessment or a requested follow-up;
  • maintain records, protect the service, diagnose technical problems, and improve the assessment process; and
  • meet legal obligations and resolve questions or complaints.

Completing the form and speaking with Daisy are voluntary. If you do not provide the required form details, we may not be able to provide the assessment or contact you about it. Submitting the form does not automatically start a Daisy conversation. A completed assessment means that you have submitted the form and completed the Daisy conversation. Brigham personally reviews every completed assessment and supplies the personal review within three working days.

The short intake form holds your answers in your browser until you accept the terms and continue. Those answers are then passed directly to Daisy through ElevenLabs so the conversation can begin with useful context instead of asking you to repeat the same information.

We may use de-identified and generalised themes from assessments to improve our services or illustrate common business challenges. We will not publish names or details that could reasonably identify you or your business without permission. Removing a name alone may not be enough where specific circumstances could still identify a person or business.

4. AI, recording, and human review

Daisy is BDM Growth Systems' discovery-led AI system, not a human adviser. If you start a Daisy conversation after giving consent, BDM Growth Systems, ElevenLabs, and their service providers may record, transcribe, view, store, and share it to provide, review, secure, and improve the assessment. Those service providers may include third-party AI model providers. The assessment page provides this notice before the conversation begins.

Under the current settings, ElevenLabs processes call audio in real time but does not store it. The transcript and related conversation information may be kept for up to 30 days for the purposes described in this policy.

Daisy gathers information and may generate a transcript or summary. It does not make final recommendations, promise outcomes, or implement changes. Brigham makes the human assessment and supplies the personal review within three working days after both the form and Daisy conversation are complete. Important details should be checked during human follow-up.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers to operate the website and assessment. They may process information on our behalf only to provide their services, keep the systems secure, or meet legal requirements. Current service categories include:

  • ElevenLabs for the pre-call answers, Daisy voice agent, live audio processing, transcripts, summaries, and related conversation services. ElevenLabs may use third-party AI model and service providers;
  • ChatGPT Sites (OpenAI) for website creation and hosting-related services; and
  • Microsoft 365 for business email and related communications.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights or safety of people or the service, or with your permission. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Overseas processing

Some providers may store or process information outside New Zealand. Privacy protections and government-access rules in those countries may differ from New Zealand law. We select established providers and use the controls reasonably available to us, but cannot guarantee that all processing occurs in New Zealand.

7. Storage, security, and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse, or disclosure. No internet service is completely secure, so please avoid sharing confidential or sensitive information through the assessment.

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legitimate business records, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. We may then delete it or remove identifying details. You can request deletion, although we may need to retain limited information where the law or legitimate record-keeping needs require it.

8. Access, correction, and deletion requests

You can ask to access personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it. You may also ask us to delete information or stop a particular use. Email brigham@bdmgrowth.co.nz. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and will explain if a request cannot be completed in full.

9. Questions and complaints

Please contact us first at brigham@bdmgrowth.co.nz, and we will try to resolve the issue. You can also make a complaint directly to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner using its official complaint information page: Make a privacy complaint.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the assessment or its service providers change. The latest version will be posted on this page with its updated date.
